Originally from the vibrant city of Madrid in Spain, my love for writing has been with me for as long as I can remember. Putting stories onto paper has always felt like home. Over the years, I’ve taken four writing courses—three with the amazing team at the New Zealand Writers College. I’m proud to say I’ve won an award for a Spanish short story back in 2014, and had two mini-stories published in both English and Spanish in 2018.
I made the big move to New Zealand in 2011 and have been happily settled in Wellington ever since. I share my home with my wonderful daughter and our friendly Golden Retriever, who keeps us both smiling.
When I’m not scribbling away or lost in a good book, you’ll find me dancing, catching up with friends, or spending quality time with my daughter. I’ve also got a bit of a travel bug and love exploring new places whenever I get the chance.
Fun fact: I am also a trained scientist with a BsC in Physics and a PhD in Seismology. It’s been quite a journey, and I’m excited to see where the next chapter takes me.
